Visas: No visas are required for a visit up to 90 days.

Climate and clothing: In the Mediterranean climate, lightweight clothing is worn most of the year, but warm clothing is needed for winter.

Health: Medical facilities are adequate, and common medicines are available.

Telecommunications: Long-distance telephone and telegraph services are available. Monaco is six time zones ahead of eastern standard time.

Transportation: Frequent flights are scheduled from most European cities to Nice, France--a short drive from Monaco. Buses, taxis, and rental cars are available in the city. There also is frequent train service from Nice, and a commercial helicopter service between the Nice Airport and the Monaco heliport.
